This is me:

Interests:  I’m the webmaster of www.ethicalfocus.org and if that doesn’t chew up enough time, I’m active in their Socrates Café group.  This further sends my precious free hours down the rathole of boning up on philosophy.  You can waste lifetimes there, but once you start questioning at that level, it just takes a life of its own.

Politics:  I was a Republican before that meant being a reactionary nutjob finding reasons to invade independent countries with nasty but innocuous dictators who we used to support.

I support our troops by not sending them into misguided wars that make us less safe in the long run and add to the unfathomably huge deficits that my kids will pay.

I also can’t understand why conservatives don’t understand that we need to *conserve* our environment.  Extinction is forever.

Religion:  Was a Roman Catholic till I married a wonderful man who was born Jewish.  (They do make the best husbands!)   Anyway we found Ethical Culture and I’m very happy with the choice.  I was beginning to wonder about the whole personal god (creator of the universe and listening to my prayers to have a good day) thing.
