I suggest a boycott of all discussion with automated voice systems.  Put the darn thing on speaker phone and "type or say" as litttle as possible, especially if you are a paying customer.   These systems almost always revert to a human being if you wait'em out.  If you notice, the human being, which you nearly always need to speak with anyway, always asks you to repeat your account number/mother's maiden name/dog's middle name, etc.
